It’s not easy starting a college program from scratch, but Coach Troy Lewis did just that. The Titans played 24 games in it’s inaugural season winning 5. The program’s first “W” came on April 3rd at SPORTS FORCE PARK (the Titans home field) against Marian Ancilla as they run ruled the opposition 12-2. Although weather was a factor most of the season, the Titans managed to play everyone in the conference and managed to complete a difficult schedule.
Of course with any “inaugural” season, records were everywhere. Below are some standout records:
Kenedie Sherman led the Titans in BA – .409
Mikaylah Marshall led the team in several categories: OBP – .484, SLG – .680, K/7 – 6.42, innings pitched – 52.1 and finally XBH – 12
Mikayla hanely led the team in total bases with 41
Faith Beaver led the Titans in fielding % – .979
The Coaches and Athletic Department are excited to see year #2.
