The Titans’ Baseball team went to Oxford, Ohio and the Miami University and McKie Field at Hayden Park to take on Miami-Middletown. In game 1, Mason Johnson drove in four runs on one hit to lead TSCC past Miami-Middletown 15-5 on Sunday, October 20th. In the 4th inning, Johnson homered to right field, collecting 3 of his 4 RBI’s in game 1.
Terra State Titans scored 11 runs in the fourth inning on their way to a 5 inning victory. Brayden Myerholtz (Oak Harbor HS) hit a bases-loaded double clearing the bases while Isaac Robinson singled, scoring 1. Dylan Wright singled, scoring 2. Hayden Kline singled, scoring 1 and Jace Brooks singled, scoring 1.
The Titans were the first to get on the board in inning number 1 when Jayden Leach singled, scoring 1 run.
Nate Cunningham (Marion HS) earned the win for Terra State. The Reliver gave up on hit and zero runs over one and two-thirds, striking out 4 and walking none. Cody Lindsey started on the bump for the Titans.

DRIVES 5 RUNNERS HOME IN TSCC
VICTORY OVER MIAMI MIDDLETOWN
Caine McDonald (Hopewell-Loudon) drove in five runs on three hits to lead Terra State Titans past Miami-Middletown 17-11. McDonald tripled in the 2nd scoring 2, also singled in the 4th scoring 2 and singled in the 5th scoring 1. Terra State collected 12 hits to Miami-M’s 8.
The Titans opened the scoring in the top of the 1st thanks to Jayden Leach’s RBI single. Jayden had a both game 1 and 2 first RBI’s.
Miami University flipped the game on its head in the bottom of the third, scoring 5 runs on four hits to take the lead 9-5, but the Titans came right back and tied the game in the top half of the 4th. Dylan Wright and McDonald’s 2 RBI singles helped the cause.
Carson Klausing started the game with Reagan Geyer earning the win. Tim Marquette pitched 2 scoreless innings in relief.
Terra State amassed 12 hits in the game. Wright and Kline each collected multiple hits for the Titans as Justin Williams and Nik Shadley led the team with 2 free passes.

Now it is Grind time as the Titans will work on skills and improvement in the weight-room, on the bump, and in the cage. Their home opener is February 28th at Wright State University against OCCAC Conference Opponent Clark State.
