Bio
Coach Hedden, an educator by trade, brings 44 years of coaching experience and 28 years of being an OHSAA and NCAA umpire to his role at Terra State. Hedden coached both basketball and baseball at the high school level before making the jump to college baseball. The Fremont Ross and Bowling Green alumna is the architect of the Terra State program which played its first varsity season in 2022. In the ensuing years, the Titans have produced more than 100 program wins, an Ohio Community College Athletic Conference Championship, two Region XII Championships, a 2026 national ranking in the top 15 and a 2025 NJCAA First Team All-American. Hedden's peers have named him 2026 OCCAC Coach of the Year and 2024 and 2026 Region XII Coach of the Year.
When not coaching, Hedden serves Terra as an adjunct professor. He and his wife Cyndi share two children and one granddaughter.
